About Funko Arm Morty
In the adult series of Rick and Morty, in a season 3 episode, Rick Smith transfers Armothy’s physical and muscular memory to Morty’s arm. Armothy is the name that Morty gives to an arm that formerly contained the life of an inhabitant of Dimension Post Apocaliptica. In his past life Armothy was a lumberjack in a small town, which is later looted by the invaders. These evil invaders burned his wife and children and tormented him with torture, which resulted in him seeking revenge through murder. The end of Armothy, is unknown, but his arm just hanging to dry in the back of a car, possibly meant to be eaten. The rest of Armothy’s body is never seen.
It is then when Armothy becomes part of Morty, by Rick’s idea, in order to distract other inhabitants fighting in the Blood Dome or Thunder Dome, while trying to steal a large deposit of Isotopo-322. The arm begins to move and think independently of Morty. At first Morty was terrified, but soon learned to use it to air his failure towards his father Jerry for agreeing to divorce his mother.
Armothy accidentally finds the leader of the invaders who had ordered the attack on his village. Morty notices that once Armothy’s revenge takes place, it will disappear. That way he could not continue venting his frustrations and tries to delay his revenge. Then, after coming to the conclusion that they both needed to move on, the two said goodbye before Armothy strangled the leader to death. Morty’s arm returns to normal quickly.
